Product Description Now this crock will hold all those treasured wooden spoons, specialty whisks, pasta servers, spatulas and ladles. Roomy and fairly deep, it is part of Le Creuset's stoneware line, known as Poterie.
Amazon.com Review Perfect for kitchens with limited drawer space, this large utensil crock holds handfuls of whisks, spatulas, and spoons. At 6 inches high and 6-3/4 inches across, it's a handy size to keep near the stove yet spacious enough to double as a cookie jar. The crock is made of heavy stoneware, which keeps it from tipping over when loaded. Le Creuset's colorful porcelain enamel finish on the crock resists scratching, chipping, staining, and cracking, and gradates from a darker hue at the bottom to a lighter hue at the top. Like all Le Creuset ware, the crock is dishwasher-safe. --Ann Bieri

Heavy is better when talking utensil crocks! June 20, 2007 J. Papeo (NJ, USA) 41 out of 41 found this review helpful
What can you really say about a utensil crock? The batteries die too soon? The picture is clear? The author took me to a magical world of make believe?
Well, it does hold many utensils, much better than my last one.
Why would I recommend this crock over others? Weight.
This is one heavy momma. The benefit is that unlike the thin stainless holders, this thing stays in its place.
Look, we all cram as many utensils into this thing as we can. With a thin, light holder the entire crock moves around or comes with you. You actually need 2 hands...one to hold the crock and another to take out what you need.
With the weight of this crock, only one hand is needed. It stays in place.
I very much recommend this crock or any color that matches the rest of your decor. MUCH better than the stainless crock we used to use.
Le Creuset Poterie Large Utensil Crock, White - Love it May 16, 2003 Mrs. Romano (Boston, MA United States) 16 out of 17 found this review helpful
This large utensil crock is a must have, particularly if you have KitchenAid utensils. The KitchenAid utensils have a larger handle than most other brands so it is necessary to use a larger crock. This crock is very solid and heavy. It looks great on my counter and provides very handy use of utensils. I keep all my KitchenAid utensils and wooden spoons etc. in this crock and keep all my All Clad stainless utensils in their own crock. I like to keep stainless utensils separate so as not to accidentally use them on nonstick pans. This crock is very attractive and could also be used for ice cream or even a kitchen plant. Excellent quality, value and appearance! Highly recommended!
Heavy, solid, holds a lot, BEAUTIFUL June 6, 2007 Trixie (CA) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
Well, I love all of the red Le Creuset items and now have several of them adorning my red/black/stainless/ivory kitchen. This crock replaced a smaller mouthed black one we had, and I just love it because it's beautiful, of course, but also it holds so much. I no longer have to squeeze things in... All of my kitchen utensils fit and there's room for more!
Larger is the better July 25, 2007 Momo (San Jose, CA) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I already had smaller Utensil Crock of Le Creuset, but this larger one is better! If you are thinking whether you should get smaller or larger, you should get larger one, so you don't have to buy two of them like me after all!
great value, high quality, April 5, 2009 Carter's Mom (Washington, DC) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This utensil crock is just the right size to hold a whole slug of your kitchen utensils that are taking up too much drawer space. It is about six inches in diameter around the top, so it may be larger than many utensil holders. I find the size to be just right: holds a reasonable amount and isn't too bulky on the counter. The outside is black and glossy (the picture makes it look as if it may have a matte finish, but that is not the case), and the inside is a light beige or sand color. Normally it is hard to find the black Le Creuset as many of the black items are exclusive to Bloomingdales. The works for both tall and medium length utensils.
