| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The R H Forschner by Victorinox Paring Knife features high carbon, stainless steel blade, hand finished at Victorinox in Switzerland by skilled craftsmen. A special tempering process is used to produce an edge that can be resharpened over and over again, so the knife can keep its original sharpness throughout the entire life of the blade. Victorinox handles are ergonomically designed to minimize wrist tension. They provide a natural fit. A good heft and comfortable, positive grip are indications of a well-made knife. Although cutlery steel is naturally sanitary, materials and construction details of the handle minimize crevices what would offer hospitality to bacteria.

Best little kitchen knife regardless of price... February 8, 2008 M. J OBRIEN (Oak Point, TX United States) 33 out of 34 found this review helpful
This knife was bought out of jar on the counter of the Robertson's Meats main store in OK. I got it as a whim needing to cut a summer sausage in the car. What a surprise...it has been great and I have bought 3 more.
What is the best thing in a knife is how long it keeps it's edge and how well it sharpens. This knife beats any other brand in this category. Yes the handle is simple and small.
No other knife let's me slice a block of hard cheese paper thin without much thinking about it and other's always drift. The beauty is in the thin blade...it is not flimsy...thinness of the blade is what makes the knife and yet it is durable.
Extremely Usefull Tool! August 1, 2008 Scott Howard (Bryan, TX) 12 out of 13 found this review helpful
For someone who really gets into cooking, a knife this size gets probably more use than any other. It's just right for detail work like garlic, ginger, etc. I trust the Victorinox brand, I have owned Victorinox knives in one form or another for 30 years. The only ones that I am not still using are ones that I have lost. For the price, I don't know if there's anything out there that would come close to what you're getting with this knife.
Some KNife! March 5, 2009 CR - Half Cook (Alaska) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought one of these little knives in Spokane somewhere.
I've cut sod, cardboard boxes, insulation, soft wood, and
still it's the best little knife in the kitchen for slicing or
peeling anything! What a hunk of steel! I'm getting more of them!
Great paring knife for the price! May 27, 2008 Melissa A. Minor (Kennesaw, GA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a great little knife for a great price! I have an assortment of more expensive paring knives, none of which keeps an edge for very long. This one keeps its edge, is light and easy to hold, and was cheap.
Great knives! August 4, 2008 JCPewter (Sequim, WA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I thought this would really be too small for most paring, etc., but it
isn't, and I find that I use it a lot. These Victorinox knives arrive sharp, and they stay sharp. The handles are nice, too, very slip-resistant. Good buy!
