Slow Cooker

4 quarts is minimum but a 6 quart slow cooker is family-size. You want a dishwasher safe lid and a stoneware crock that can double as a serving dish. All models come with a small recipe book. Slow cooker chicken is the universal favorite but you want a big book of slow cooker recipes. You will use it often. There are some good values among the crockpot slow cooker selections.
