Designed for home or small office use, this water cooler uses a reuseable 3-gallon jug that can be filled with ordinary tap water.

Brita chose the 3 gallon size because it is much easier to handle than a 5 gallon jug. Refilling the jug with ordinary tap water means you don’t need to have jugs of water constantly delivered nor space to store them. The changeable internal filter is readily available because this cooler uses the same filter used by Brita filtered water pitchers (the most popular choice for filtered water).

It also dispenses refreshing cold water and hot water (for mixing with tea or instant coffee) through individual faucets. It’s easy and convenient. Brita filtered water is healthy and great tasting.

I’m not sure what the other reviewer of this is referring to, but standard pitcher filters work great in mine. I havent had to buy any adapter or use any adapter. Maybe they changed it up or something, but i’ve put the regular ones in it without any changes and they are identical to the originally provided ones. Everything works great.

The adjustable temperatures are great because you can strait up shut the thing off if you are going to be out of town for a few days. The nightlight is bright enough that you could find your way to the fridge but not bright enough to cause too much concern over use of electricity.

I love the thing. If you want a close look at one, a lot of major retailers carry them as well. You’d definitely save a lot of money over the cost of using “real spring water.”
