So far so good April 25, 2008 Constant Reader 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've only been using this new microwave for a month now, so I can't speak to how long it will last, but so far I love it. It looks great, is easy to use, and cooks better than my old one. The manual is easy to follow, but I really haven't looked at it much because the design is so intuitive. And it makes great popcorn - few unpopped kernels and no scorching. Great performance - especially for the price.

Cooks Quickly and Evenly May 20, 2008 S. Potter This Panasonic replaced a Sharp model that was about six years old. What a difference. First of all, with 1300 Watts, food cooks and heats quicker than with the Sharp 1150. That's to be expected, though. What really sets the Panasonic apart is that it cooks much more evenly than any other microwave I have used. There is less browning around the edges of frozen meals such as Lasagna. Cold spots are much less of a problem. It just cooks better. One caution, though, target cooking times will almost always be less than those printed on the box of the meal you are cooking.
super fast heating June 9, 2008 notxe (D.C.) I have had a 700 watt small micro for a decade, and bounced on the low cost of this super powerful oven- at 3 times the size of my old one, it can take on anything. I have had to reduce power settings so as not to damage small items being heated, but am very pleased!
Great Microwave June 9, 2008 Martin J. Kreutzer (Seattle, WA) This is a great microwave. There are lines across the window, but you can still see what's cooking. It's quiet. Does popcorn perfectly. It's just a very nice microwave with plenty of power and room.
